Trade Status Trade Status tells us if the current net credit at market prices is acceptable. It also tells us if the underlying stock/index has moved and changed the risk profile, or if the position needs to be "rolled". When the underlying stock/index is in good position the Trade Status will show "O.K." and it is permissible to trade the position. If Trade Status shows "HOLD" then one or both of these gauges are unacceptable and the trade should not be entered, but if you are already in, stay in. If Trade Status indicates "ROLL", the position needs to be modified by rolling the current option(s) to new option(s)
