Power Financial Group announces allowance of its' patent on "Interactive internet analysis method"

Wilmington, Delaware, February 9, 2000 - Power Financial Group, Inc., today announced that it has received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent Office for a patent on interactive Internet Analysis Method. This is a significant patent with far reaching effects for Internet technology.

"We are pleased to announce the recent action by the Patent Office in granting an allowance of our patent," said Ernie Zerenner, Power Financial president. "This patent is not only important to our business, offering customers the ability to interact with our database, but could also effect the operation of many interactive Internet sites. It is a significant patent for our company and most others on the Internet." Zerenner went on to say, "The concept of customer interaction with a database on the Internet enables customers to extract information, an obviously important concept for present Internet users and services."

This technology is being used on Power Financials' Internet site, called PowerOptions http://www.poweropt.com/. In this framework, customers can choose investment criteria to find covered calls for investment income. These investment choices are used to query a database of all optionable stocks and options to find situations that meet the customers' specifications. Since this is all done on-line, response time is fast. Individual investors can now have access to information and computing capability that was once only in the hands of large companies with great resources.
