Web site Offers New Capabilities for Stock and Options Investors
Hockessin, DE -- January 19, 1998 (INB) -- PowerOptions announces a new information service for investors who "write covered calls". This is an investment strategy in which the holder of a given stock derives additional income by selling options, against that stock, to other traders. http://www.poweropt.com/

PowerOptions allows the individual investor to specify search criteria and sort thousands of options from a database of all optionable stocks. Search variables include strike price, month of expiration and the percentage of gain if the option is called or not called.

--Service Simplifies and Speeds Research--

According to PowerOptions Greg Zerenner, variables in the options market can be very complex; the PowerOptions service can reduce a weekend's effort of reading and calculating to a five minute visit to the web site.

Says Zerenner, "No other database service allows the investor to direct the sort and filter process and then run that sort over and over again with different criteria. This powerful mechanism allows investors to identify trading opportunities that would not have otherwise been obvious and to increase potential profits from the options market."

--Extensive Information Available for All Options--

Once a trading opportunity has been identified, the PowerOptions web site provides additional information via a click through to Yahoo Finance, which provides a graph and fundamentals about each stock under consideration. Combined with the powerful capabilities of the PowerOptionsPlus database for searching, filtering and sorting, this information provides a complete solution to the needs of the covered call trader.
