Some private citizens have taken up guarding the United States southern border with Mexico in the Minuteman Project. The group claims their efforts were a necessity after President Bush refused to authorize additional border patrol agents. The all-volunteer group notifies the Border Patrol when they spot someone crossing the border from Mexico.
Finger Food?
A woman in San Jose California discovered a portion of a human finger while eating a bowl of Wendy’s chili. The source of the missing finger is a mystery. The finger had a manicured nail, did not match anyone in the FBI’s fingerprint database and all the employees of the Wendy’s restaurant had all of their fingers intact.
Riding Shotgun?
Philadelphia police ticketed a woman for alligator possession within city limits after noticing the nose of the alligator protruding out of the driver-side window.
